 > Welcome to Wine Country...Healdsburg style! > Race Info > Parking & Transportation
PARKING
For your convenience there are three parking areas with transportation provided to/from the start/finish.  There is also a convenient drop area just off the Independence Lane exit off Hwy 101.

Option A - Park in downtown Healdsburg and bus to the start  View downtown parking map
Park in designated public parking lots or streets in downtown Healdsburg and walk to the Parkpoint Health Club located on Foss Creek Circle and Grove St. to catch a bus to the start.  Parkpoint is located a short 5 minute walk from the primary downtown parking lot just off W. North St.  There is also ample parking off Center St. just north of Healdsburg Plaza. Buses will run every 5-10 minutes from 5:30am to 6:30am.

Option B - Park at Clos du Bois Winery near start area   View start area parking map
You may park in designated winery parking at Clos du Bois winery located near the start at Rosso & Bianco. Look for the parking signs along Geyserville Ave. off the Independance Lane exit to the right. You may walk to the start from the parking (a quarter mile). Return shuttles will run from the finish area to Rosso & Bianco and Clos du Bois Winery until 12:30pm

Option C - Park at Warm Springs Rd. at Finish Festival      Course Parking and Viewing Areas
If you prefer to have your car at the finish area you can drive up Dry Creek Rd into the parking lot which will be open at 5:30am and take a bus to the start. Buses will run every 5- 10 minutes from 5:30am to 6:30am.  Allow some extra time to drive up to the finish area and take the bus to the start.

Option D - Passenger Drop-off at Fredson Rd.

If you have someone dropping you off, there is convenient drop area just a short walk from the gates to the winery. Take the Independence Lane exit of Hwy 101 and turn left at Fredson Rd. to the designated drop area.  Volunteers and law enforcement officers will be present to provide instruction.

There is NO PARKING along Fredson Rd., Independance Lane or at Rosso & Bianco Winery. Cars parked along the route will be towed!

RETURN TRANSPORTATION From the Finish Area:
Warm Springs Recreation Area at Lake Sonoma - 333 Skaggs Springs Road. Geyserville, CA 95441
Buses will run approximately every 15 minutes from 10:30am to 12:30pm.  Buses will service downtown Healdsburg, Rosso & Bianco Winery and Clos du Bois Winery on Geyserville Ave. The final bus leaves for downtown Healdsburg at 12:20pm.

VIEWING
Vehicles are not allowed on the course after start time so you must view from one of the designated areas if you plan to drive a car.  Designated areas:

1. Start area at Rosso & Bianco Winery. Take the bus or park at designated spots (Clos du Bois Winery) and walk to the start area and along the first mile.

2. Ridge Vineyards at 650 Lytton Springs Rd. You MUST arrive via Chiquita Rd and park in a safe place off the road where you can cheer on the runners as they reach the crest of Lytton Springs Rd between mile 2 and 3.  You may exit back down Chiquita Rd or wait until all the runners and CHP sag vehicle have past and head east on Lytton Springs Rd. NO access on Lytton Springs Rd when runners are present!

3. If you are looking for a beverage and snack and a cool spot to sit and watch the runners make their turn onto Lambert Bridge Rd., get their early and claim your spot in front of the Dry Creek General Store @ 3495 Dry Creek Road. This spot is at mile 5. You must arrive before 7:15am if you are driving from the south on Dry Creek Rd. The store opens at 6:30am. You may exit north up Dry Creek Rd. to the finish area or use Canyon Rd for access to Hwy 101 and downtown Healdsburg.

4. You can pick the runners up again as they enter Dry Creek Rd off Yoakim Bridge Rd. just after mile 10.  There is no parking along Dry Creek Rd so you'd best make friends with one of the nearby wineries and plan to walk some.

5. The FINISH is at Warm Springs Recreation Area at Lake Sonoma. IMPORTANT:  Due to limited parking and traffic control you should arrive at the finish area before 8:15am to see the first runners arrive. After 8:30 the course will start to become crowded along Dry Creek Rd. and there will be a delay trying to access the finish area and festival.  We recommend you arrive early and avoid this stretch of Dry Creek Rd. from 8:15 to 10:15am. Please use Canyon Rd from Hwy 101 to avoid driving along Dry Creek Rd. as much as possible.

Access is not permitted to the following roads during these times unless of emergency and CHP approval:
Fredson Rd. from 7:00am to 7:45am
Lytton Springs Rd from 7:15am to 8:15am
Dry Creek Rd between Lytton Springs Rd and Lambert Bridge from 7:30am to 8:45am
West Dry Creek Rd from Lambert Bridge Rd. to Yoakim Bridge Rd. from 7:40am to 10:00am

Please obey all signs, volunteers and law enforcement vehicles and officers at all times! We are using county roads with private residences, and working wineries and vineyards.  Please respect the neighbors and the environment!

Thank you!

Parking and Transportation information
Less cars.....more running, walking, bicycling and carpooling please!  The wine county is not especially automobile-friendly.  Many of the roads are narrow and views are better experienced in fresh air rather than from behind glass or with the hum of a vehicle in the background.  Please try to rideshare with friends or check out our new PickupPal program.  Once here in the Healdsburg and Geyserville area we've provided you with multiple options to get to the start so you don't need to be driving all over.  Please visit our Transportation and Parking page and print out the available maps so runners and spectators can be informed on where to go during race weekend.

Event Poster
Each year French artist Jean-Pierre Got creates a unique poster design for the Wine County Half Marathon. This years version features three runners on course, two of which are in costume, passing an admiring lady sipping wine on the veranda of one of the many wineries on course. Can you guess which winery? These posters are collectibles so make sure you purchase one at the event.
