This exciting new event from Destination Races will be like no other, unless you've been to the Marathon du Medoc in France. Patterned after that festive romp through the great Chateaus of the Medoc wine region, this event will have the feel of that popular European race as you curve through the spectacular Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys at the conclusion of harvest and the harkening of Halloween. Like they say in Medoc, "If you believe sport is synonymous with health, fun and conviviality" then this race is for you!

Half Marathon Registration Half registration is limited to the first 2,100 entries this year. The half marathon is designed for runners and racewalkers who can complete the 13.1 mile course in 3 hours 30 minutes or less, a pace of 15:00 min/mile pace or better. NO casual walkers please due to time constraints. Destination Races produces high-quality, boutique-style events and our scenic courses can only handle a limited number of runners. By limiting the number of entrants we ensure our customers receive the best destination running experience possible. Team Registration: You may also enter as a team of 6 or more runners in the team category and save $5 off registration while competing for both individual and team awards. Your team captain must first register your team and assign a team name and password for all team members to use while registering. Teams may be any combination of men and women. The best six times count towards the team’s cumulative total. Women receive a 10 minute time handicap. If you have 15 or more runners you can register as multiple teams or just one team. Please make sure you have a minimum of six or more runners when you register. If you do not have 6 members on your team prior to sell out then you entries may be voided, or a transfer fee of $10 will be applied to move you to the individual only category.
15 mile option Runners who wish to run all the way to Lake Sonoma are offered the option of continuing another 1.9 miles to the overlook trail above the lake. Stop and enjoy the view or meander on down to the lake for a cool dip. You'll need it after running uphill to the lake! Shuttles are available to take runners back down to the recreation area for the Wine & Music Festival. An award for fastest time to the top will go to the top M and F.
Great Pumpkin Run for Kids Parkpoint Health Club in Healdsburg is hosting a Great Pumpkin Run and other activities after the Wine & Music Festival from 2pm to 4pm outside the club.
