The Corporate Challenge is a fundraising and fitness training program which allows your company or group to start an athletic team to participate in the Wine Country ½ Marathon or 12K while raising funds for a cause of your choice. Your corporate team will have the opportunity to provide a real impact on the community, invigorate your employees, elevate your visibility, win great prizes by supporting a cause that is directly connected to your company’s philanthropic goals. There are no fees to get started, so rev up your engines and take part in this inspirational and fun event!

It's HALLOWEEN - Run in Costume!
Its that season when the grapes are picked, the leaves turn colors, and the glow of lanterns and pumpkins light the night . This years event falls on Halloween!  What better time to join the fun and show off your favorite costume. Get in the SPIRIT and dress the part. Prizes awarded for best individual and team costume.

Inaugural event receives high marks - improvements in course management planned

Clearly, the weather, the course and the post-race Wine & Music Festival were the highlights of the inaugural event.  Thanks to all of you who filled out the survey as it helps us make improvements to the event and provides us with valuable data.  Some of your quotes are featured in the slide show on the home page and more quotes can be found by clicking here.

Vintners Inn to host expo and race dinner
We are pleased to announce that Vintners Inn will be host of the race expo and race dinner this year.  Located just north of downtown Santa Rosa and a short drive to Healdsburg, The Vintners Inn is a luxurious 44 room hotel, surrounded by lush gardens and 92 acres of vineyards. Just stps from the lodging properties is John Ash & Co.'s renowned restaurant and the Event Center, host of this years expo.  Our new travel section allows you to view and book all our participating lodging properties, car and airline partners once they are posted. Each has easy reservation links with discounted rates for our participants. Many fine resort properties are offering great deals so you can enjoy a longer stay on your wine country vacation. Kids Pumpkin Run at Francis Ford Coppola Winery -
The Kids Pumpkin Run is a short loop through the vineyards at beautiful Francis Ford Coppola Winery. Kids from 4 to 12 are invited to run in costume and play Halloween games on the property.  Each kid gets a T-shirt and Halloween goodie bag sponsored by ParkPoint Athletic Club. SIgn up your kids now or register at Parkpoint Health Club or at the winery.  The festivities start at noon after the post-race Wine & Music Festival and the run begins at 1pm. Cost is only $20 in advance. 

Run for the fight against Cancer
Join more than 4,000 athletes across the country who have experienced the journey of a lifetime by dedicating their participation in endurance events to the fight against cancer through the American Cancer Society’s Charity Runner program.  Charity Runner allows you to combine your passion for endurance events with a lifesaving commitment to those who have been touched by cancer.

Parking and Transportation information
Less cars.....more running, walking, bicycling and carpooling please!  The wine county is not especially automobile-friendly.  Many of the roads are narrow and views are better experienced in fresh air rather than from behind glass or with the hum of a vehicle in the background.  Please try to rideshare with friends or check out our new PickupPal program.  Once here in the Healdsburg and Geyserville area we've provided you with multiple options to get to the start so you don't need to be driving all over.  Please visit our Transportation and Parking page and print out the available maps so runners and spectators can be informed on where to go during race weekend.
